Avoid at all costs. Weddings are stressful enough without having to deal with incompetent companies. Not only was this company out of stock of an item when I paid extra charges for both rush processing ($15) and overnight delivery, but they charged me a $3 fee for canceling the order. Yes, you read that right! They were out of stock of an item I needed urgently and then they charged me to cancel the order. This is despite their asking for your wedding date at checkout and offering these rush services. I have no idea why they consider this an acceptable practice. It was upsetting enough that they were out of stock, attempting to nickle and dime me after the fact when it was their fault is totally absurd. After they canceled my order they added a note to the product page saying that it was backordered in bold red text. They lied to me on the phone and insisted the message was always there, however I have screenshots showing that it was not (thank you Google Cache!) I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company who has confirmed that this is not an acceptable practice and was baffled at what happened.
I ordered from weddingfavors.ca months ago for a friend's wedding and I couldn't be happier. My order came in with high quality products and exactly what I ordered, and even my back and forth questions with their customer support before placing my order was a seamless, fast-response experience. Buyer beware. This company cannot guarantee that they have all items listed on their website available even after you pay for them upfront. If you then choose to cancel your whole order (because you now dont want the other items in your order since they were part of a set including the item they dont have) you will be refunded but they will keep a restocking fee ($5) and you will be on the hook to still pay for any other items that were marked final sale even though youll never receive them. I attempted to reason with them on this bonus logic of penalizing the customer for their website being misleading and the response I got time and again was that they cannot guarantee that anything is actually available and have no control of their stock levels (what?) and that they clearly state all this in the fine print in the depths of their website.
What a pleasure it was to deal with the staff at Weddingfavours.ca The knowledge of their products is above what I expected from an online store (later found out they have a bricks and mortar store too) and their advice on picking the right product for my needs was priceless. I'll definitely be back in the future for supplies for parties. I wish I had used them for my wedding! Also their shipping was just as promised.
