I stopped by last Tuesday to pick up a few items because I was in the area. The staff member in the bread department was very helpful and provided exceptional customer service. I was looking for a wheat/gluten free option and he showed me all of them and offered advice. I also found this store to have lots of variety and the prices were great!
Staff is usually friendly. I raced home from work to get bag tags and the little smoke shop area was closed at 8:46... The deli has yummy chicken tenders but the staff can not count AT ALL . She asked if i wanted the 10 for $10 deal and I said no I NEED 12 so I paid $12.99 for 12 and got home to count 11 ...tiny and crusty.. i tried to count them when she was mangling them with the tongs but it was difficult.. it has happened more times than I can count. The prices are ridiculously expensive. They regularly advertise a product and conveniently are out of stock but have a higher priced similar product ready for me to buy. The hamburger is FULL of water 1kg of extra lean beef =over 1 cup of water , i measured because it happens so often but never used to... It is convenient because i live a block away and in a 2 grocery store town its a rock or a hard place. I am just glad that I can drive to other locations unlike seniors who are on fixed incomes and have little to no other option. You pay for the one stop shopping convenience through your nostrils at this store.
Dear sir and madamWe have been shopping at the Independent stor in Ingersoll for many years and find your store very clean and friendly. But just to say that in the past few years that your store has become more congested with the aisles becoming more narrow and harder to negotiate with many blind corners. It's open 24/7 ..7 days a week.. has amazingly picture perfect organization (always) , And I have NEVER NOT found exactly what I wanted... groceries... adult and children clothes (Joe Cool I believe) .. Lots of toys..outdoor&indoor seasonal toys, gamessilverware and everything you'd need in a kitchen.. locks.. bbq everything.. Make-up, cell phones and the list goes on even the staff are great..
Clean, spacious, and friendly grocery store. We came here for Gunn's Hill cheese as their main shop was closed on Sunday, and almost gave up because there are 2 cheese fridges that were very far apart. Eventually found the right fridge. Would we come back? Yes.
