Thank you Elm Hurst for giving us a gorgeous wedding. Chantal, the venue's coordinator was awesome on the wedding day which helped our ceremony and reception go smoothly as planned. Every guest I have talked to, complimented on what a beautiful venue it is. My wife and I would recommend Elm Hurst to any couple planning for their wedding. We would definitely come back for our anniversaries.
Our stay at the Elm Hurst Inn & Spa was overall just okay. We found our room to be spacious and nicely decorated though, there was a musty smell and nothing else to the room. We had requested in room massages which turned into a small debacle when they could not access the beds, so we rescheduled for the next day as it would have been to close to our dinner reservation. While this sort of thing is normally not a big problem, we felt the spa staff at the time were not very apologetic. The Prime Rib dinner was very good and that overnight package is highly recommended for Sundays. I would also say the complimentary breakfast buffet is decent. When we did get our massages the next day, they were well worth it and the masueses did an excellent job. Overall we enjoyed our stay and do recommended the Prime Rib and an in room massage.
My husband and I visited just for a weekend getaway to disconnect from our busy lives. Our room was beautiful and spacious and had everything that we needed. After we got settled in, we went to the restaurant for dinner which was so delicious! The restaurants atmosphere was really intimate and romantic. We ordered from the Chef's Menu and we were not disappointed (prime rib a definite recommendation!). After dinner we took a little evening stroll around the grounds and walked down to a creek with a patio and relaxed for a bit before bed. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast buffet and then went to the spa for therapeutic massages and pedicures. Both treatments were wonderfully relaxing and just what we needed. Overall, the stay was amazing and the property was just beautiful. It's a different experience staying in a beautifully restored building like this especially with its rich history. When we were on our way out, we passed by someone having wedding pictures done and it made it feel ever more romantic and wonderful.
I just returned home from my 3 days quilt retreat.This was my fourth time to enjoy their hospitality. The stuff are very special, they can't treat the guests better.. It is so nice to see the same ladies to serve us year by year and recognize us in the restaurant. Their services are excelent. The guests can feel they are coming home. Rooms are clean and good sizes. Not forget to mention the beautiful historic building and the park. I'm already planning my next staying there, and I'm sure it would not be the last one. Thank you all of you who make my staying so memorable!
My wife and I spent the weekend at the Elm Hurst Inn for a wedding reception. We were both thrilled with the overwhelmingly positive experience.Our first impressions of the Elm Hurst were extremely favourable as we were both instantly impressed by the historic and elegant buildings. There was a certain level of character that simply cannot be duplicated. The wedding/reception was near flawless with top notch food and service included. I was thoroughly impressed with the attentive staff that were also friendly and helpful. Our room itself was clean, comfortable and charming. We were fortunate to have a view of the valley that provided a memorable visual when we woke up in the morning.Overall, I would not only recommend the Elm Hurst as a potential wedding venue, but also for a quiet getaway with exquisite food and enchanting views.
